Beth has been managing staffing teams, content projects and designing workflows for well over a decade now, starting by streamlining the Corporate Manufacturing Department at American Greetings. At Penton Media, Inc., Beth oversaw the Reprints and Content Syndication departments, served as project director for the Custom Media group and as an online product development manager for the manufacturing vertical. Beth recently joined DigitalSherpa when her previous company, SocialTract, was acquired.

Chris has served as Director of Marketing for DigitalSherpa since 2012. Chris directs and executes DigitalSherpa’s online marketing strategy, and is responsible for leading DigitalSherpa’s lead generation program and branding strategy. Chris drinks our company’s content marketing Kool Aid each day by providing content to help DigitalSherpa customers and prospects learn more about small business marketing. Before DigitalSherpa, Chris was the Managing Editor at Bluff Media LLC after graduating from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta in 2005 studying Marketing and Philosophy.

Diana Young brings significant financial and operational experience to DigitalSherpa from her post as Senior VP, Finance & Administration, at DigitalSherpa’s parent company, NCI. Diana’s keen financial acumen has helped the business secure the growth capital and manage its rapid expansion expediently and productively. Diana has spent the last 10 years working as senior financial partner to business operators in local media marketplaces. Diana’s keen understanding of the small business landscape and her versatility in operations combines with her financial chops to make her a key member of the business’ management team.

Rashan has been a vital part of the DigitalSherpa movement since February 2011. As the Operations Coordinator, he manages and orchestrates the diverse range of operations of the department. He not only manages and coaches his staff, but also handles all aspects which lead to the smooth daily operation of the department.
Working closely with staff and other departments allows him to problem solve quickly and efficiently. With his established relationships, he is able to direct each problem to its appropriate resource, tool or staff to ensure the most fruitful and fitting solution. His style of management includes assigning, correcting, modifying and monitoring process, while allowing room for employees to exhibit their creativity while remaining fully responsible for the completion of their tasks.

Janet Okoben works with DigitalSherpa’s writers, editors, proofers and content publishers to provide engaging, search-optimized content to our clients. This may mean conducting a brainstorming session to come up with content ideas, spreading the word about SEO best practices or coming up with a style rule about the proper use of a particular word. She helped develop a streamlined process for content production while she was content director for SocialTract, a blogging service that was acquired by DigitalSherpa in 2012. Her favorite word is inchoate; her least favorite word is utilize. When she’s not looking at a computer, she can often be found looking for more Diet Coke.
